Financial Access Specialist
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Interviews clientele to determine if they meet the requirements for CareLink (or other University Health programs) and their ability to pay for medical services in accordance with plan policies and procedures. Secures and obtains accurate and complete clientele data for enrollment. Maintains strict confidentiality of member records. Provides excellent customer services and adheres to the standards and behaviors of University Health.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required. Six (6) months of financial counseling or related experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Experience and knowledge in obtaining insurance benefits and collection of monies is preferred. Two years experience in a similar occupation and/or in CareLink is strongly preferred.
