The Radiologic Technologist CT is a vital part of delivering safe, accurate diagnostic imaging for patients across a variety of care settings.
You would ensure high-quality radiographic exams are completed efficiently while supporting patient safety, comfort, and excellent service.
This role reports to the Director / Manager of Radiology Services.
Essential & valuable skills gained (in this unit or in this department):
· Diagnostic imaging procedures and patient positioning
· Portable, surgery, and bone density imaging experience
· Contrast administration and IV access skills
· Radiology information systems documentation
· Patient communication and education
· Collaboration with Radiologists and interdisciplinary teams
· Time management and patient flow coordination

· Advanced imaging services supporting inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and surgical care

Essential Job Duties:
· Perform ordered radiology exams accurately and efficiently
· Position patients properly and adjust imaging equipment for each procedure
· Verify patient identity and explain procedures clearly
· Maintain accurate documentation in Radiology Management Systems
· Administer contrast media when required per protocol
· Assist with portable, surgery, and routine imaging procedures
· Maintain stocked, clean, and organized imaging rooms
· Participate in on-call rotation as assigned
Qualifications:
· Post-high school vocational or specialized radiology training approved by the AMA
· 1-2 years of x-ray experience preferred
· Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
· Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
Licenses / Certifications:
· Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible
· Indiana State Department of Health licensure (ISDOH)
· Must maintain all required credentials and proof annually
