Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Commercial Rear-Load Driver to join our team in Elizabeth, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a rear-load garbage truck to collect and transport waste and recyclables from commercial locations. This position requires a valid CDL and a clean driving record.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a rear-load garbage truck to collect waste and recyclables from commercial locations
- Follow designated routes and schedules
- Ensure proper disposal of collected materials
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of truck
- Communicate with dispatch to report any issues or delays
Requirements:
- Valid CDL with clean driving record
- Class A or B CDL
- At least 1 year of previous experience as a commercial driver is a must
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in all weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Complete paperwork, including the use of electronic table throughout the day
