Currently, Aurora seeks to hire a full-time Production Operator.
Position Summary: The Production Operator will have on-the-job training to learn to follow the process paperwork, line-up material, and complete set-up needs. They will use a forklift, pallet jack and crane system for moving and unloading goods. They will perform A-frame set up and changes. They operate in a production setting communicating with all teammates for efficient production and completion of all daily production paperwork and labeling of finished products. The operator will run equipment and learn how to troubleshoot production and quality issues. They may complete process paperwork and production sheets along with other duties assigned by Lead or Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Stages all rolls for line up and set upReceives in material scanning labels with scannerRecords run-time and stop time during work ordersUses saw to cut coresCleans rollers and other equipment as neededFlags defects and inspects material while runningCuts samples for Quality Sews seams using machineLabels all finished productUse of tape measure, hand tools, band saw, and Pallet JackParticipate in lean manufacturing projects Has solid work ethic and attendance

Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Manufacturing experience highly desired
- Ability to read process paperwork
- Ability to read and use a tape measure
- A combination of education and experience may meet the above requirements
