Job SummaryThe Carry-Out / Delivery Specialist will be the lead front of house team member ensuring all carryoutand delivery orders are properly entered and closed in the system, packaged, completed, and passed offfor our main restaurant and virtual kitchens. You will be working as a team member with other front ofhouse employees and kitchen employees to help exceed guest expectations and ensure quality productand service in an efficient manner.
Primary Responsibilities:- Expedite, organize, verify and pack take-out & delivery orders
- Coordinate incoming take-out & delivery orders
- Work with multiple technologies to facilitate take-out orders (POS, tablet, kitchen system)
- Answer phones
- Coordinate multiple third-party vendor take-out orders (example: GrubHub, Door Dash,UberEats)
- General carry-out responsibilities
- Use quality checklist to inspect each take-out/delivery order meets quality standards
- Know all food and beverage products offered
- Assist with keeping the restaurant and front entryway clean and safe
- Accurately quote available pick up time
- Create a great first and last impression for our Guests and delivery partner drivers
- Be cheerful, helpful and take accurate phone messages and orders
- Handle multiple payment methods including safe and accurate cash handling
