About Bells of Steel Inc.
At Bells of Steel, we’re on a mission to make fitness and strength training approachable, affordable, and fun!We design and manufacture high-quality strength and exercise equipment for home gym enthusiasts and fitness pros alike. Whether you're a seasoned gym rat or just getting into the swing of things, we've got the gear to help you crush your goals.
We’re not your typical, stuffy fitness equipment brand—we’re down-to-earth, a little cheeky, and always looking for ways to make working out a little less serious and a lot more rewarding. If you like the sound of being part of a fast-paced, no-BS team that’s shaking up the fitness industry, then you might just be the perfect fit.
Bells of Steel has been building high-quality, accessible gym equipment since 2010. What started out of the trunk of a Ford Festiva has grown into one of North America’s fastest-growing fitness equipment brands — with offices in Calgary, Toronto, and Indianapolis. We’re growing, and we need the right person to help us bring on the talent that keeps that momentum going.
This role is about more than filling seats. The people we hire shape our culture, our products, and our customers’ experience. We take that seriously, and we need someone who does too.

•Handle HR administrative tasks including offer letters, reference checks, and documentation

OUR CORE VALUES — A.C.T.
At Bells of Steel, our core values aren’t a poster on the wall. They’re how we operate daily, and they’re what we hire for. As the person helping to build our team, you need to embody these values and know how to spot them in others.
1. Adaptability — Raise the Bar
We challenge the status quo, learn fast from mistakes, and continuously improve our products, processes, and ourselves. We experiment, adapt, and raise the bar — because standing still means falling behind. In this role, that means being resourceful with your sourcing strategies, iterating on what’s working, and not waiting to be told what to try next.
2. Customer Centricity — Always Spot the Customer
We exist to make our customers stronger. Everything we do — from design to delivery — should add value to their lives. We serve with empathy, listen with intention, and build trust through action. Your “customers” are both the candidates you engage with and the internal teams you support. Mutual respect is the foundation of every great relationship, and that starts with the hiring experience.
3. Teamwork — We Win Together
We operate with honesty, transparency, trust, and respect — and we win as a team. We say what we mean, do what we say, and own our outcomes together. No one carries the load alone, and results belong to the team. In recruiting, that means collaborating closely with hiring managers, being transparent with candidates, and taking shared ownership of every hire.
WHO YOU ARE

•A clear, professional communicator — both in writing and in conversation
•Comfortable picking up new tools quickly (ATS platforms, Google Workspace, Slack, etc.)
•Based in Calgary or Toronto, available for a flexible 20-hour weekly schedule
•Fitness industry interest or experience is a plus, but not required — we’ll get you up to speed
