Job Title: Medical Director, Outpatient Surgery

Position Summary
The Medical Director of Outpatient Surgery is a practicing, board-certified surgeon who provides both clinical care and executive leadership within the ambulatory surgery center. This role combines active surgical practice with strategic oversight of clinical quality, physician governance, operational performance, and regulatory compliance.
Working in a dyad leadership model with the Director of Outpatient Surgery, the Medical Director ensures delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered, and cost-effective surgical care while modeling the organization’s core values:
Clinical Responsibilities
The Medical Director is expected to serve as a clinical role model and maintain high standards of surgical performance, professionalism, and patient safety. In addition to administrative leadership duties, the Medical Director will:

Provide direct patient care, including pre-operative evaluation, surgical procedures, and post-operative management.
