CNC Machine Operator – Costa Mesa, CA (Full-Time/Contract)
Shifts:
• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Mon–Fri)
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Mon–Fri)
Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to set up, run, and maintain CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision parts. Must be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to quality.
Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC mills/lathes per job specs.

Load materials and perform dimensional checks (calipers, micrometers, gauges).

Read blueprints, drawings, and GD&T.

Monitor machines and adjust as needed.

Perform routine maintenance and keep work area clean.

Document production data and work with quality/engineering teams as needed.
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent.
-
2+ years CNC machining experience (mills and/or lathes).
-
Experience with Fanuc, Haas, or similar controls.
-
Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills.
-
Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
-
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Preferred (not required):
-
Multi-axis machining, setups, offsets, tool changes.
-
Basic G-code editing.
-
Aerospace/medical manufacturing experience.
