Group Psychotherapist
THIS ROLE IS ONSITE IN ROCHESTER
Responsibilities
- Develop and facilitate psychotherapy groups tailored to client needs, including CBT, DBT, trauma-focused, psychoeducational, and support groups.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate group goals into clients' comprehensive treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to promote mental health, coping skills, and interpersonal effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with OMH regulations and clinic policies.
- Participate in case conferences, supervision, and ongoing professional development.
- Monitor group dynamics and adjust interventions to enhance engagement and therapeutic outcomes.
- Provide crisis intervention and safety planning as needed.
Qualifications
- Must have a master's degree in Social Work or a related mental health field and have an active license as a LMHC, LCSW, LMSW, or LMFT.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate therapy groups for diverse populations, including children, adolescents, or adults, based on the organization's needs.
- Works effectively with multidisciplinary teams, providing case consultations and progress updates.
- Experience in documenting sessions, treatment planning, and maintaining compliance with ethical and legal standards.
