Warehouse Stocker
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Receive, properly date and rotate, and store products in designated storage areas according to FIFO practices.
- Working in cold room(refrigerated) and freezer as needed.
- Deliver products to retail department according to a delivery schedule or by requisitions.
- Decant products following FIFO practices and handle food according to HACCP/food safety Guidelines.
- Break down cardboard and follow the recycling process.
- Keep work area/department clean and organized and perform other tasks assigned as needed.
JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent performance, attendance, and safety record
- Must have good organizational skills and adaptable to frequent changes
- Must be able to use fingers & hands to handle equipment
- Must be able to date product and verify information
- Must be able to work in hot or cold environment
- Must be able to work around moving equipment and wet floors
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and push up to 100 lbs (on rolling stock)
- Must be able to walk/stoop/bend/stand for 8 to 10 hours per shift
- Must be able to use electrical and manual pallet jack
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Previous forklift and electric pallet jack experience preferred
- Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays. Days off subject to change due to shift bidding.
Compensation details: 22.04 Hourly Wage
