We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Revenue Management Analyst.
What will you be doing most days?
· Assist with daily reports such as pick-up reports, daily revenue and any other as directed by the Director of Revenue Management
· Assist in preparing operational forecasts, tracking reports, project management, budgets, and projections as directed by the Director of Revenue Management
· Analyze performance of various rate and revenue generating strategies utilizing proprietary and non-proprietary tools
· Analyze information from multiple sources, evaluating results to draw actionable business conclusions, and recommendations for implementation
· Prepare reports for, attend and participate in weekly Revenue and Sales meetings, take notes and distribute the revenue packets and minutes
· Create reports, compile information, and analyze performance of portfolio performance versus industry metrics
· Manage room authorizations, rates and restrictions, in addition to ongoing sales and marketing programs
· Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including hotel Sales Teams, Operations, eCommerce, and Revenue Management at all regional, corporate, and hotel locations
What are the requirements for this position?
· You have a bachelor's degree with major in business, marketing, management, finance, accounting, communications, hospitality management or related field
· You have strong technical and analytical skills to gather, analyze, organize, and communicate financial and numerical information
· You have excellent working knowledge of Excel and understand statistical analysis concepts, including correlation, causation, and regression analysis
· You have hotel-based experience in front desk operations, hospitality sales, marketing, or revenue management
· You have the ability to work independently with minimum supervision with strong attention to detail
· You have excellent time management skills
· You have experience in development of sales forecasts, tracking reports, project management, and/or budgets
· You have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
· You have the ability and desire to learn new technologies quickly and manage multiple tasks
Physical Requirements for this Position
You must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time as the job dictates.
Travel Requirements
This position requires up to 20% travel within the local area and seldom does it require ravel outside the local area and overnight.
