About the role
- In this critical role, you will be responsible for supporting various warehouse operations and ensuring the efficient movement of goods. Reporting to your department lead, you will learn about our internal processes and help implement best practices to optimize our workflow. Your proactive approach and willingness to collaborate with your team will enhance our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
What you'll do
- Fulfillment: Efficiently execute the fulfillment process by picking and packing orders accurately and promptly to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Process Mastery: Develop a thorough understanding of all warehouse processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) integral to our operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with your Lead to adhere to established processes and assist in achieving departmental goals.
- Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with your Lead and team members, ensuring that all feedback and observations are shared constructively.
- Inventory Management: Assist with the organization and management of inventory, including receiving, storing, and distributing items following company policies and procedures.
- Work Safely: Uphold a clean, organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to minimize workplace hazards.
- Additional Duties: Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned by your Lead, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented mindset.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting systems.
