PACE is an alternative to nursing home care and, through an interdisciplinary care team (IDT) of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, therapists, van drivers, and aides, coordinates and provides preventive, primary, acute, and long-term care services, so older individuals can continue living in the community.

Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Director of Operations to lead and oversee operations at our Portage, MI location. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong executive presence, strategic planning capabilities, and a passion for developing team members while fostering a culture rooted in belonging, partnership, ownership, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for daily operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.
- Develop, mentor, and empower team members to achieve their full potential and drive high performance.
- Utilize data and metrics to monitor utilization, operational efficiency, and quality outcomes.
- Lead strategic planning initiatives to support growth, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to ensure effective collaboration and participant-centered care delivery.
- Manage transportation operations to ensure safe, timely, and efficient services.
- Build and sustain a positive organizational culture that embodies the values of belonging, partnership, ownership, and excellence.
- Serve as a key member of the leadership team, representing operations with executive presence and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor's degree, with a master's degree preferred—preference given to candidates with a major in a health-related field, management, or administration.
- Licensure as an RN/MSN in the State of Michigan is preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of operations experience working in a health or human services, managed care, home care, or long-term care setting.
- Experience in a leadership role within an executive-level team is required.
- Strong skills in team development and leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and utilize data and metrics to drive decision-making.
- Minimum of one year of experience working as part of a multidisciplinary or interdisciplinary health care team.
- Must have proven leadership experience and skills with the ability to get along harmoniously with others in a team environment.
- Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with personnel, participants, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
- Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret goals, objectives, policies, and procedures necessary for providing quality care..
