What You’ll Do (AKA Your Superpowers)
- Step in as a teller and handle transactions with speed, accuracy, and confidence
- Keep your drawer balanced daily—because details matter
- Open new accounts and help members get started with the right financial tools
- Recommend products and services that genuinely fit members’ needs
- Meet (and exceed) monthly goals for loans, new accounts, and referrals
- Spot and prevent fraudulent activity—protecting both our members and the credit union
- Assist members with safe deposit boxes, including opening and closing access
- Review and explain credit reports in a way that actually makes sense to members
- Guide members through the loan process—from application to closing
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a financial institution
- At least 1 year of sales experience (in person and/or over the phone)
- 1+ year of cash handling experience
- Confidence, adaptability, and the ability to walk into any branch and hit the ground running
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping people
