Your Role as a Treatment Coordinator
You will be responsible for guiding patients through treatment decisions with clarity, confidence, and empathy by:
- Presenting treatment plans and financial options in a clear, patient-friendly manner
- Verifying insurance benefits and explaining coverage, estimates, and out-of-pocket costs
- Managing pre-authorizations and following up on pending treatment
- Scheduling treatment to support provider productivity and case acceptance
- Coordinating closely with dentists, assistants, and front desk teams
- Collecting payments and supporting billing-related workflows
- Maintaining accurate documentation and HIPAA compliance
- Building trust-based relationships that drive treatment acceptance and patient satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
- Dental office experience required
- Treatment Coordinator experience strongly preferred
- Dental coding and insurance knowledge preferred
- Strong background in treatment planning, case presentation, and patient communication
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
- Confident, professional presence with patients
- Experience with Denticon or similar dental software preferred
- A positive, team-oriented mindset and commitment to delivering an exceptional patient experience
