Rarity Bay Golf & Country Club is seeking friendly and professional Clubhouse Bartenders to join our Food & Beverage team. This is a great opportunity for hospitality professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while creating a welcoming experience for members and guests.
Located within an award-winning gated lakefront community, Rarity Bay offers breathtaking views of both the water and the surrounding mountains. With approximately 900 homeowners enjoying the “Bay Way of Life,” the Club serves as the social and recreational hub for the community.
Members enjoy a full suite of amenities including a par-72, 18-hole championship golf course designed by DJ DeVictor and Peter Langham, tennis and pickleball courts, fitness center, swimming pool, community docks, horseback riding, scenic hiking trails, and more.
As a Clubhouse Bartender, you will play an important role in delivering an outstanding member and guest experience by preparing beverages, providing attentive service, and helping create a welcoming atmosphere in our dining and bar areas.

Job purpose
To provide an exceptional guest drinking experience. This role prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintains bar cleanliness and organization, and ensures the bar is fully stocked to support efficient service.
Duties and responsibilities
- Prepare and serve liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic beverages as ordered.
- Assess guests’ needs and preferences and make beverage recommendations when appropriate.
- Prepare fruit, garnishes, and bar setup prior to the opening of service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar area throughout the shift.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
- Ensure glassware is clean, polished, stocked, and replenished daily.
- Accurately process orders and payments using the POS system.
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
- Work collaboratively with servers, management, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
- Adhere to all club standards, safety protocols, and cleanliness guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- At least one year of bartending experience required.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, including traditional and creative cocktails
- Social perceptiveness and the ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness
- Completion of mixology, bartending, or related training preferred.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) preferred.
Working conditions
Work is primarily indoors with some outdoor exposure. Potential exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp utensils, harmful chemicals and/or being exposed to flying golf balls.

Physical requirements
Good organizational and verbal skills. Ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues. Ability to perform basic mathematical skills, monitors and develops subordinates, visually monitor the operation areas, write and read member communication.
Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up to 40 lbs., up to 30 lbs. frequently. Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting. Ability to consistently lift, carry and load equipment that may weigh 40 or more pounds, and sustain aerobic activity for 20 consecutive minutes.
Please be advised that all work that requires the use of a ladder more than 8 ft. long must be reviewed by Hampton Golf’s Club Maintenance person. Following an assessment of the situation, a determination will be made as to whether a maintenance team member or subcontractors will perform the necessary maintenance task. No other staff member is authorized to climb to heights exceeding 8 ft. and/or perform such maintenance. In addition, personnel are prohibited from entering facility attics, walking on the roof of buildings and/or from using scaffolding.
