Job Summary: The rebuilding of motor & operator harnesses
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Repairs & make new harnesses
- Keeping work area clean & organized
- Helping Supervisors with inventory of new parts
- Troubleshoot problems with gearboxes & motors
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Solder / Desolder Experience is preferred
- Ability to repetitively use small hand tools
- Measure, cut, & strip wire to meet OEM specs
- Crimp all connectors necessary for harnesses & locks
- Maintain inventory count to keep sufficient supplies on hand at all times
- Mechanical skills (auto, diesel, electric motors)
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least two years related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a workbench
Must be able to lift 40 pounds
