Job Summary
- Seeking a Cryptologic Computer Scientist to serve as a hybrid technical expert combining computer science and cyber threat analysis to support mission-critical operations
- This role focuses on analyzing large-scale datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential cyber threats, with an emphasis on network and protocol analysis
- The candidate will leverage advanced analytics and programming skills to enable discovery-driven insights within complex data environments
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale datasets to identify cyber threats, anomalies, and patterns of interest
- Perform network and protocol analysis to support detection and understanding of adversary activity
- Develop and implement data processing and analytics solutions using Python and Apache Spark
- Work with distributed data systems to process and analyze high-volume data efficiently
- Apply analytical techniques to support cyber threat analysis and mission discovery efforts
- Utilize and integrate customer-specific tools and analytic platforms to support mission objectives
- Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and mission stakeholders to refine analytic approaches and solutions
- Develop scripts, models, and workflows to enhance data analysis and operational capabilities
- Document analytic findings, methodologies, and recommendations
Required Qualifications
- Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (MD Customer)
- Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree with 10 years of in-depth relevant experience that is clearly related to the position
- Degree must be in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, a Physical Science, or a related technical field
- Experience with Python programming for data analysis and automation
- Experience working with Apache Spark or similar large-scale data processing frameworks
- Strong background in network and protocol analysis
- Experience working with large-scale or distributed data environments
- Ability to analyze complex datasets and extract meaningful insights
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The pay range for this role is:135,000 - 185,000 USD per year(Ft. Meade MD)
