Job Summary
- Seeking a Reverse Engineer responsible for analyzing and dissecting malicious software to identify capabilities, behaviors, and indicators associated with global cyber threats
- This role requires deep expertise in malware analysis and reverse engineering techniques to support threat detection, attribution, and mitigation
- The analyst operates independently in a high-tempo environment, contributing to mission-critical cyber defense and intelligence efforts
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform static and dynamic analysis of malware to determine functionality, intent, and impact
- Conduct reverse engineering of malicious code to identify behaviors, persistence mechanisms, and command-and-control structures
- Analyze global cyber threats and emerging malware variants to support detection and mitigation efforts
- Utilize industry-standard tools such as IDA Pro and/or Ghidra for binary analysis and reverse engineering
- Develop indicators of compromise (IOCs), signatures, and analytic reports based on findings
- Document malware characteristics, attack vectors, and recommended defensive measures
- Support threat intelligence and incident response efforts through detailed technical analysis
- Stay current on evolving malware techniques, obfuscation methods, and adversary tactics
Required Qualifications
- Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (MD Customer)
- Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of relevant experience, Associate's Degree with 5 years of experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position
- Strong experience in malware analysis and reverse engineering
- Proficiency with reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro and/or Ghidra
- Understanding of operating systems, assembly language, and low-level programming concepts
- Ability to analyze complex and obfuscated code
- Experience working with cyber threat intelligence and global threat landscapes
- Ability to work independently and manage analysis efforts with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The pay range for this role is:115,000 - 155,000 USD per year(Ft. Meade MD)
