Key Responsibilities
- Assist Production Art Director plan, shoot, and edit professional-grade photographs for a variety of purposes (e.g., commercial, editorial, events, portraits, and product photography,etc.)
- Collaborate with Creative Director and Art Directors to understand project goals and deliver visually impactfulresults.
- Set up and manage lighting, backdrops, and camera equipment foroptimalimagequality.
- Direct subjects and scenes to capture the desired mood, composition, and storytellingelements.
- Edit and retouch images using professional software whilemaintainingbrand consistency and qualitystandards
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines andmaintainingattention todetail
- Lead and supervise the PhotoRetoucher,providingclear guidance on editing standards, style, anddeadlines
- Review, approve, and provide feedback on retouched images to ensure top-tier quality andconsistency
- Organize, archive, andmaintaindigital asset libraries
- Establish andmaintainretouching workflows, presets, and brandguidelines
- Manage project timelines from shoot through post-productiondelivery
- Stay current with photography trends, techniques, and industry-standardtools
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience as a Photographer with a strong portfolioshowcasingversatility andcreativity
- Experience in the beauty industry, particularly with beauty product photography
- Strongproficiencyin Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and post-production workflows
- Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., generative fill, image enhancement, background replacement) intoworkflows
- Strong understanding of lighting, composition, color theory, and visual storytelling
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Experience managing or mentoring aRetoucheror post-production teammember
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tightdeadlines
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
The pay range for this role is:75,000 - 80,000 USD per year(Gale)
