About the role
Keystone Experts + Engineersis seeking experienced environmental health and safety professionals to join our team as Industrial Hygienists. This role is designed for detail-oriented experts with a background in environmental science, public health, or hazardous materials management who are ready to serve as critical technical resources for our clients.
As an Industrial Hygienist, you will play a vital role by conducting comprehensive site investigations and environmental sampling. You will perform a variety of assessments and sample collection, such as hazardous materials assessments lead, asbestos, etc.), perform moisture mapping and microbial assessments, air quality investigations and assessments, and smoke damage assessments. This is a fully remote, part-time, 1099 contracted position.
What you'll do
- Driving to client sites around your specific location.
- Performing commercial and residential inspections ranging from short duration (1-2 hours) projects to multi-hour projects. Most jobs are completed in less than a day.
- Delivering samples directly to a local laboratory or via FedEx.
- Updating/uploading project data after the job and at the end of the workday.
- Occasionally inspecting inside crawlspaces, basements, and attics.
- Communicating with clients.
Qualifications
- Qualified applicants must hold the appropriate certifications/licenses to perform the following:
- Asbestos inspections
- Lead Paint inspections
- Mold Inspections
·Minimum of 1-3 years prior building sciences and industrial hygiene experience
