University Physicians' Association is looking for a full-time Payment Posting Specialist for our Revenue Cycle Management team within the UPA corporate offices located in Knoxville, TN.

What You'll Do:
This description is a general statement of required major duties and responsibilities performed on a regular and continuous basis. It does not exclude other duties as assigned.
- Posting guarantor and insurance payments to accounts.
- Balancing all posted checks and deposits.
- Identifying patients and guarantors to match remittances.
- Downloading Electronic Remittance Advice and keeping up to date.
- Identifying electronic payments in ERA.
- Downloading/Uploading ACH/ERA/EOB files daily
- Reconciling & Matching bank deposits
- Payer website EOB downloading/uploading
- Using banking application (RMS) to create logs and process daily deposits
Physical Demands:
Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment. Fast typing dexterity is required.
Requirements:
Required Education & Training:
Requires High School education or equivalency, medical billing courses and college preferred.
