About The Role
As a Restaurant Server in our Food & Beverage department, you will be a key part of delivering an exceptional dining experience. In this hourly, full-time role, you will provide attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable service while maintaining high standards of hospitality, accuracy, and efficiency. You’ll work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure guests enjoy timely, well-presented meals and beverages, and you’ll help create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guests to return.
What You'll Do
- Greet guests promptly and warmly, presenting menus and explaining daily specials or featured items
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system in a timely manner
- Serve food and drinks according to restaurant standards, ensuring proper presentation and temperature
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal and respond promptly to requests and concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized section, including tables, chairs, and service stations
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered efficiently
- Process payments accurately, handle cash and card transactions, and issue receipts
- Upsell menu items, specials, and promotions to maximize guest experience and check averages
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines, including allergy and dietary protocols
- Set up and break down dining areas before and after service, including side work and restocking
- Adhere to all company policies, service standards, and uniform/grooming guidelines
- Assist teammates and support other sections as needed to maintain smooth restaurant operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer-facing hospitality role preferred
- Strong verbal communication skills in English with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to provide attentive, high-quality service in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills and comfort with point-of-sale (POS) systems and payment processing
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, especially with orders and special requests
- Ability to stand, walk, carry trays, and be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Capability to lift, move, or carry up to 25–30 lbs as needed
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
- Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices; formal certification is a plus
- Legal authorization to work in the country where the restaurant is located
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
