Manager, Appeals & InformaticsSummary: The Manager of Appeals and Informatics will provide leadership to the Appeals staff in daily operation of the Appeals Department. Manages and leads Care Port Informatics to meet the goals of the department for daily workflows, reporting, and documentation.
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Experience: Five (5) years of clinical experience required. Prior experience with Meditech and Careport or similar software. Familiarity with InterQual™ / MCG care management criteria is required. Must be proficient in Microsoft 365.
Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical skills, knowledge of case management processes, and expertise in relevant software platforms. Ability to evaluate, implement, and maintain case management software systems. Strong managerial skills, which include coaching, counseling, and disciplining, to deliver a highly functional team while ensuring data integrity and security. Development of policies and procedures.
