Position Details
- Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Location: Knoxville, TN | UT Medical Center

What You’ll Do
- Support clinic operations to ensure efficient patient flow
- Obtain vitals, review patient history, and update documentation in the EMR
- Serve as a clinical liaison between patients and providers
- Assist with in-office procedures and provider support
- Process patient communications, e-prescriptions, and follow-up care
- Coordinate appointments, referrals, diagnostic testing, and surgeries
- Track test results, medication authorizations, and post-operative care
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms; sterilize equipment per OSHA standards
- Participate in team meetings, training, and performance improvement
Requirements:
What We’re Looking For
- CMA certification or active LPN license required
- Minimum 6 months of medical office experience preferred
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic care environment
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and quality care
