Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and collaborate in developing comprehensive treatment plans for patients with hematologic-organized care. Monitor patient progress, provide follow-up evaluations, and adjust treatment plans as needed. Educate patients and their families about disease management, treatment options, and supportive care. Advocate for patient care and ensure a compassionate approach to all interactions.
Qualifications: Master’s nursing (NP program) from an accredited institution. Current Illinois Nurse Practitioner license and certification in Hematology/Oncology or relevant clinical experience. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an APRN in Hematology/Oncology. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Expertise in hematology/oncology patient care is preferred, but NPs with diverse clinical backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Why Sinai Chicago?
