Retail Customer Service Representative The Retail Customer Service Representative (Bilingual) will be responsible for assisting with daily activities on the East Bay Supply counter and flooring products showroom areas. The ideal candidate will have some experience in home improvement, flooring dealer, contractor, or specialty hardware retailer. Must possess sales and service support aptitude as well as solid computer skills, be a quick learner, and can work in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus but not a requirement.
Brief Position Description:
Assist customers with shop purchases and flooring product inquiries.
Work with Purchasing to ensure that the Supply Center is properly stocked and always maintained, specifically targeting the fastest moving SKU's.
Work as a team with the outside sales representatives in servicing accounts within the territory.
Market the showroom, promote specific products/vendors, and create an atmosphere that brings business to the branch, with regular activities such as cookouts, counter days with vendors, and specific promotions. Process credits and refunds in a timely manner.
This role will also serve as backup Warehouse Associate. Must be able to safely operate a standup forklift.
Other duties as assigned.
