Thomas More University seeks a full-time Associate Professor in the Department of Information Systems beginning Fall 2026. This is a tenure track position for a doctorally-qualified candidate from a regionally accredited institution. Primary responsibilities are teaching 12 hours per semester in undergraduate and graduate-level Information Systems courses in both traditional and non-traditional (adult accelerated) formats. The position entails teaching the graduate and undergraduate Information Systems courses as well as, potentially at least some of the following: AI Use and Engineering; Business Analytics; Programming, Database design, Web Development, Cybersecurity, Systems Analysis. Experience with online course delivery is strongly preferred.
All faculty members advise students, remain current on topics and practices related to the discipline, contribute to the campus community in various ways including committee assignments and assisting the Admissions Office in recruiting for the program, and engage in scholarly work.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a terminal degree (PhD or DBA) in AI, Business Analytics, and/or Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or equivalent program. Applicants should have up-to-date skills in and familiarity with technology and learning-management systems.
Thomas More will not support H-1B visas, so applicants need to be able to prove that they can legally work in the United States without such support.
