Reporting Relationship: Patient Registration Manager
We are seeking a Patient Registration Float to support our hospital and clinics. This role involves greeting patients, verifying insurance/demographics, and processing admissions, switching between locations to provide coverage. The ideal candidate is adaptable, accurate, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Registration & Admissions: Greet patients, register them in the system, and process admissions efficiently.
- Patient Intake: Verify demographics, insurance information, and collect necessary signatures.
- Adaptability: Float between hospital departments and GNMSS clinics based on staffing needs.
- Customer Service: Assist patients with questions, explain policies, and ensure a smooth intake experience.
- Compliance: Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all HIPAA/hospital regulations. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Job Qualifications:

Required: Must be 19 years or older

Required: High School Graduate or equivalent
Preferred: Associate degree or higher in secretarial work.

Preferred: 1+ years of experience in a medical office or hospital setting. Strong communication and computer skills (EHR experience preferred). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to different teams
