Qualifications
Education
- Required
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Experience:
- Required
- Knowledge of medical laboratory practices and procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of lab/reference manuals, formularies, ICD-10 book, and reference lab procedures
Certification/Licensure:
- Required
- Basic Life Support
- Required within ninety (90) days of start date
- Preferred
- ASCP board of registry or equivalent
- Certified phlebotomy technician
