About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our Housekeeping Department. As a key member of our team, you will play an integral role in ensuring that laundry operations run smoothly, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience. This full-time, hourly position is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for upholding the highest cleanliness standards in an English-speaking environment.
What You'll Do
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron a variety of linens and garments according to company standards.
- Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect laundry items for stains or damage before processing, and take the appropriate care or report them for further attention.
- Ensure that all laundry is cleaned and returned in a timely manner for use within the facility.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment in the laundry department.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of laundry supplies, reporting when replenishment is needed.
- Assist with the upkeep and cleanliness of the laundry room, ensuring equipment is well-maintained and clean.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any challenges or needs in daily operations.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate and maintain laundry machines and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality results.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift laundry items throughout the shift.
- Basic communication skills in English to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
- Commitment to providing consistent, reliable service in a fast-paced environment.
The pay range for this role is:15 - 15 USD per week(Hilton Garden Inn Billings)
