SCHEDULE: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM. Scheduling may change from time-to-time to meet the needs of the clients and program.
SALARY: $73,800, exempt salaried with cell phone allowance

The mission of CPLC's Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) is to promote the health, well-being, and stability of refugees, unaccompanied alien children, and other eligible individuals and families, through culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based services. WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT LEAD CLINICIAN?
You are a clinically skilled professional with experience in group, individual, and family therapy, drawing from a range of treatment modalities and demonstrating a solid understanding of Residential Services policies and procedures. You respond sensitively and effectively to the cultural and socio-economic backgrounds of the service population and communicate clearly in both English and Spanish.
You excel in active environments, maintain self-control under pressure, and manage responsibilities with effective organization and prioritization skills that bring success for you and your staff. You bring computer literacy required for the role and work well both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
As the Lead Clinician, you willlead a team of clinicians,directing and overseeing the delivery of quality clinical services within the department. You will oversee the completion of goal-oriented psychosocial diagnostic assessments, service plans, and progress reports to support client progress and program outcomes. You will guide and support clinicians in conducting weekly children’s groups on designated topics and issues.
You will also maintain full compliance with all state and federal regulatory requirements and drive the department’s adherence to established deadlines set by the chain of command and federal partners. The role requires the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal English and Spanish.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to this position.
- Maintain on-call schedule for the support of children and staff.
- Actively engage in a quality assurance plan necessary for compliance.
- Provide opportunities for routine consultation and supervision for clinicians.
- Provide counseling, crisis management, evaluations and other clinical functions if needed.
- Record relevant clinical data and report clinical information as required.
- Maintain accurate and current child records and files.
- Provide data to support staff regarding admission/discharge of children.
- Meet predetermined deadlines that allow for timely processing and reunification of unaccompanied alien children.
- Assist in discharge planning.
- Maintain current knowledge of community resources.
- Communicate effectively with referral sources and providers.
- Attend scheduled meetings and participate in team decisions and operations.
- Participate in workshops, seminars, education programs and activities that promote professional growth and development.
- Prepare and maintain assigned reports in accordance with agency policies and procedures and applicable licensing and contract standards.
- Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed or requested by position supervisor.
- Implement Program safety protocols including evacuating with children and other staff in case of an emergency.
- Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the service population and program operations.
- Maintain Program professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in Program’s employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and complying with required dress code at all times.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Education/Background:
Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling or another relevant behavioral health discipline from an accredited program, university, or college where clinical experience is a program requirement and includes 2 years of post-graduate direct service delivery experience.
Must have supervisory experience.
Must be licensed to provide clinical services in the state where the care provider is located.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS).
Bilingual Spanish/English.
Credentials, Skills and Abilities:
- Maintain current licenses and certificates required for the position, including but not limited to:
- First Aid, CPR and Emergency Behavior Intervention, Other:
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.
- Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
- Pass pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.
