More than just a “dishwasher” you'll contribute to a seamless and comfortable guest experience, turning ordinary stays into extraordinary memories through exceptional service and genuine connections.ABOUT THE ROLETo wash all kitchen utensils such as pots and pans as well as to clean kitchen floors, walls, and any equipment such as mixers, bruisers and steam jacketed kettles.SCOPE OF WORK + TEAM Reports to theFood & Beverage Director/ Sous ChefSupports special F&B staff RESPONSIBILITIES Wash pots and pans following A.S.I.guidelines.Maintain a clean work environment inpotwasher area.Maintain kitchen area, floors, walls, equipmentclean.Maintain front of house floors and restroom cleanliness for opening and throughout the dayMaintain clean walk-in coolers.Empty all garbagethroughoutthe day and all at closingTocloseworkstation properly and free of debris and waste with no water presentHandle F&B deliveries and re-stock/store food products according to first in/first out guidelines.Help with basic food preparation when all other work is done.Coordinate withFood & Beverage Director/SouChef/Supervisor work priorities andprovide assistanceand perform other duties as requested by management; attend meetings as required by management.
EXPERIENCE:Prior Experience:Previous experience preferredIT Expertise: Advanced knowledge of computer software (including Microsoft Office, outlook) and web analytics tools is preferred.Education: No formal education required; High School diploma or equivalent desiredSubject Expertise: Operate dish washing machine, dishwasher handling, Floor maintenance, physical workDemonstrate a working knowledge of all property safety and security procedures as required maintaining a secure and safe environment for employees as well as guests.Report any unusual occurrences and/or request tto Supervisor.Must be able to follow directions with attention to detail, speed and accuracyMust be a team player with the ability to work under minimal supervisionMust be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environmentOTHER EXPECTATIONS:Abide by payroll policies, procedures and rules of conduct as stated in the Associate Handbook.Demonstrate a working knowledge of all company safety and security procedures.Able to lift/ pull / push - 50 lbsAbility to stand, kneel, squat, bend through shift as needed and dictated based on job duties.Travel required: As needed for hotel familiarization, content creation shoots and to meet with colleagues.Hours Required: Must understanding that the hotel business functions 24/7 and some weekend or holiday work may occasionally be required.
