Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Family Practice Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Glendale, AZ.

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant interviews patients, measures vital signs and records information on patients' charts, draws and collects blood samples and/or urine samples from patients, prepares specimens for laboratory analysis, and conducts a variety of diagnostic tests.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and play a key role in supporting our providers by facilitating orders, managing referrals, and ensuring smooth clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare examination rooms and assist with patient procedures.
Take and record vital signs and patient history.
Administer medications and injections as directed by a physician.
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or relevant certification.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a family practice or primary care setting preferred.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in facilitating provider orders and managing referrals.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Shift: Full time
