Revenue Assistant
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify, scan, upload, enter, and count drivers' paperwork. Identify and approve uploaded documents in Order Images to expedite audit process. Follow up on driver's paperwork that has not been received in a timely manner. Prepare billing packets and send them to accounts.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately identify, enter, and count uploaded drivers' paperwork.
- Complete Daily production report and audit count report.
- Scan and/or Upload documents into Order Images as needed.
- Update online log of mail received, noting checks and driver logs received.
- Clean scanner as needed to ensure scanned documents are clear and professional.
- Place all scanned documents in a holding bind for 30 days and then place them in the office recycler.
- Accurately identify, tag, and manage document visibility for uploaded documents.
- Quickly and accurately review and approval documents in the following backlogs:
- Not Yet Delivered
- Not Ready for Audit
- Ready for Audit
- Contact hauling and/or Traffic dispatch regarding system updates, so all uploaded driver's paperwork can be entered and routed to the correct backlog.
- Follow up with hauling agents on paperwork not received that is over 19 days from delivery or for specific accounts that have billing deadlines- using late paperwork report.
- Prepare and send billing bundles to Interline carriers and national accounts per guidelines which are maintained by the Revenue Assistant II.
- Assist with basic audits by accurately entering charges and distributing revenue in the processing system.
- Communicate with agents, drivers, and corporate employees to resolve paperwork issues and missing system updates.
OTHER FUNCTIONS: Assist with special projects assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES: Computer skills, good written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work both independently and as a team player. Must be accurate and detail oriented.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Experience with completing tasks using a computer either in school or previous positions.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High school education or equivalent
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Must have the ability to sit at a desk and in front of a computer for long periods of time. This is a hybrid position requiring both remote and physical presence in the office. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Must have the ability to handle stress. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, and walk; use hands to finger, handle and feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include appropriate vision needed to read a computer screen, paper forms, and correspondence.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Job involves both in-office and remote work environment with phone and heavy email volume with Microsoft Teams and Outlook for communication.
SAFETY HAZARDS OF THE JOB: This hybrid remote/in-office position with minimal hazards. General office working conditions with phone and heavy email volume, heavy clerical demands, and deadlines to meet daily during peak season.
