About the role
- Enjoy your summer at Roosevelt Hotel and Cabins in Gardiner, MT at the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Travel to close by attractions such as Lamar Valley, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Tower/Roosevelt area, Grant Village, Old Faithful Geyser and all that Yellowstone National Park have to offer! Nestled in the foothills enroute to Mammoth Hot Springs, the oldest village in the national park system, Gardiner is the perfect basecamp for a season of fun and adventure! With its close proximity to some of the best nature and geology in the country, as well as plenty of hiking/sightseeing, rafting, and other activities, your potential for entertainment is endless!
- The front desk associate at Roosevelt Hotel and Cabins is the first and most common point of guest interaction in the hotel. As the face of the hotel, our front staff are expected to provide accurate information to guests about the hotel and area in general in a friendly and pleasant manner. Front desk associates are required to learn the property operating system and be able to execute essential functions of the system as it pertains to the role of front desk.
- There are many activities and attractions to do and see in the area, which is why it attracts millions of guests each year. Being able to guide our guests from start to finish on their journey to Yellowstone is the goal expectation of this position. We are looking for someone who can immerse themselves in and embrace the magic of the area with our guests.
- Dates of employment: May 5th, 2026-October 1st, 2026
- Pay: $16/HR
- Housing provided by employer (Single occupancy in apartment with shared kitchen/living space)
- $2 Hourly Bonus incentive for completion of entire contract.
What you'll do
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional manner
- Answer and route incoming phone calls promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Create and manager reservations.
- Provide essential information about services, location, or hours.
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scanning documents.
- Ensure security procedures are followed
- Learn about hotel operations in a fun, fast-paced setting.
- Assist with functions of the hotel that may not be related to the front desk associate position as needed.
Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years customer service. College degree preferred.
