Shift Type: 6 weeks on (including weekends) followed by 1 week off

Key Responsibilities
Excavate ground lines around timber bridge components using hand tools (D-handle spade, sharpshooter, crowbar, etc.)
Apply wood preservative treatments and install plugs using a hammer
Drill holes in timber using " drill powered by a generator
Record bridge conditions and inspection notes accurately
Walk on uneven ground and steep slopes around job sites
Learn and safely use lineman gear for climbing bridge structures
Maintain safety protocols while working at heights of up to 300'
Work outdoors in all weather conditions as part of a traveling crew
Qualifications
- Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid drivers license with favorable driving record
Physical strength and stamina; ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work long shifts
Comfortable with heights and working in remote, elevated environments
Experience in physical outdoor labor (construction, landscaping, ranching, farming, military, etc.)
Ability to pass gas mask, respirator, fall protection, and lead exposure training
- Preferred:
Limited Class A CDL (no air brakes) preferred and eligible for premium rate
Previous experience in timber work, bridge repair, or utility labor
