B&L Construction Inc is seeking a dedicated Construction Project Manager to lead our team.
This is a pivotal leadership role where you will oversee projects ranging from $500k to $4M. Key Responsibilities
You will lead the project team (superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff) to ensure cohesive and productive collaboration.
Project Leadership: Develop comprehensive plans and schedules to ensure efficient execution. Manage all contractual aspects including estimating, specifications, submittals, and closeouts.
Financials: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial targets are met.
Site Operations: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, enforce safety standards, and address issues.
Client Relations: Maintain strong communication with clients to ensure their needs are met.
Quality & Risk: Oversee quality control to meet company standards and implement strategies to mitigate project risks.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including progress reports, financial records, and change orders.
Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
Experience: 5 years of experience in construction project management is preferred (but not required), with a track record of managing projects from $500k to $4M.
Tech Stack: Proficiency with Plan Swift, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education: Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
Industry Knowledge: General knowledge of the construction industry is preferred.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and clear communication skills.
Requirements: Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
Travel: Ability to travel as needed for project site visits and client meetings.
