CPLC Prestamos now offers loan products, business consulting services and investment opportunities in Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico and Texas.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?
As a Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in expanding the Prestamos loan portfolio by presenting loan capabilities, structuring complex loan proposals, completing initial underwriting, and preparing comprehensive credit packages. You will analyze financial data, identify risks, and make sound credit recommendations that support responsible lending and long-term business success.
In addition, you will:
Perform in-depth credit analysis for new and existing commercial loan relationships, including renewals, modifications, and annual reviews
Analyze business, personal, and global cash flow; income statements; balance sheets; collateral; and market/industry trends
Identify credit risks and communicate findings to Business Development Officers and Senior Credit Officers
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient workflows
Support micro-loan clients with initial counseling, referrals, and access to technical assistance programs

You are confident working independently while collaborating across teams, and you handle sensitive financial information with discretion and professionalism.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

Education /Background:
-
BS/BA in Finance/Accounting preferred
3-5 years relevant experience in commercial credit analysis
Experience with 7a loans is a plus
Other requirements:

Able to work in office Monday through Friday
