The Emery in Farmington, MN is currently looking for a part-time Caretaker for overall cleaning of the apartment building inside and out. Applicants must be available to work Monday -Friday (Part-Time), 20 hours per week.
Must be available as needed for apartment turns.Caretaker Responsibilities and Duties:To daily, keep all glass surfaces clean and common areas clean and vacuumedKeeping all assigned interior and exterior areas clean and free of debris by sweeping, vacuuming, and moppingMust keep the community rooms clean for resident’s use, as well as public restroom and fitness roomThe Caretaker must clean all apartment turnovers in the agreed-upon time frame, typically, apartment turnovers occur between the last day of the month and the first day of the month. Apartment turnover often occurs within a 24-hour periodAssist in delivering notices, watering plants, shoveling snow, pushing in trash dumpsters as needed, empty trash containers inside, large containers outside & in the dog park, cleaning garage as needed, and any other duties as assigned by the ManagerCaretaker Qualifications and Skills:Previous Housekeeping or Caretaker Experience is preferredMust be a team player and communicate daily with office and maintenance staff as neededCandidate should be organized, punctual and pay attention to detailMust be able to work independently and complete general work duties in a timely mannerMust be familiar with cleaning products and their various usesMust be able to operate a carpet shampooer machineCompensation:Starting at $20 - $22 per hour depending on experienceExpected Hours:20 per week
