Junior Mechanical Technician (Lab Experience)
Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Junior Technician with a background in
mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field, and hands-on experience gained through
academic labs, internships, or professional lab environments. This role is ideal for an early-career professional looking to build practical experience supporting testing, equipment operation, and technical processes in a controlled lab or production setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with setup, operation, and maintenance of mechanical, laboratory, or test equipment
- Support laboratory testing, data collection, and documentation according to established procedures
- Perform basic mechanical assembly, disassembly, and component inspection
- Calibrate and verify equipment under supervision and document results
- Follow safety, quality, and compliance standards within lab or manufacturing environments
- Record test results, observations, and measurements accurately
- Assist engineers and senior technicians with experiments, prototypes, and troubleshooting
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces, tools, and lab areas
- Track materials, consumables, and equipment inventory
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned
$20 - $25 an hour
Compensation details: 20-25 Hourly Wage
