Essential Functions:
- Administers the Employee Health Service functions, which include — but is not limited to — administering the pre-employment health screening process, administering influenza and other necessary vaccinations, triaging and reporting employee injuries via the Event Reporting System. 40%
- Participates in the respiratory protection program by administering fit testing to employees and other health care workers as needed. 10%
- Assists with the Workers' Compensation program by reporting injuries and filing claims with our TPA. 15%
- Assists with the development and implementation of departmental goals. 5%
- Maintains and prepares employee files and logs pertaining to OSHA, TJC and other regulatory agencies to meet and maintain compliance standards. 10%
- Participates in the hospital's Environment of Care committee, reports on all relevant employee safety trends and participates in all necessary activities related to employee safety. 5%
- Assists with the development of Employee Health policies and protocols. 10%
- Collaborates with team members by sharing relevant information, demonstrating initiative, and supporting team decisions and work life of the department. Assist Human Resources with Wellness initiatives, review of work accommodation requests, verification of I9 documents and any additional duties as required. 5%
General Job requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills
- EKG monitoring and arrhythmia interpretation (ICU,Tele,ED, Peds)
- Airway and ventilator management (ICU,ED, Peds, Nursery)
- ACLS (Tele, ICU, ED, PACU, L&D), PALS (ED, Peds), NRP (Nursery, L&D, Mother/Baby)
- BLS (all units)

Salary Range - $35.00 - $46.50
