SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday (8:00am-3:30pm or 8:30am-4:00pm)
LOCATION: PossAbility Office Pasadena - Pasadena, CA
STATUS: Full-Time, 37.5hrs/wk, Non-Exempt
DRIVER POSITION: Yes [ If yes, see driving policy below]
DURATION: February 16, 2026 - April 10, 2026
SALARY RANGE: $23.00-$25.00/hr
NOTE: This is a temporary position with a defined end date. Continuation or extension of this role is not guaranteed and will be determined solely based on organizational needs, funding, and performance. If the position is not extended, the organization intends to provide advance notice when reasonably practicable to allow for transition planning. Employment remains at-will.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Community Coach, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding individuals with developmental and physical disabilities. You will be out in the community, fostering independence and skill-building, aligned with each participant's person-centered plan. This role is not just a job; it's an opportunity to make a real difference, promoting inclusion, volunteerism, and relationship-building in community settings.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Coach and guide individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, focusing on skills for successful community integration.
- Build positive, supportive relationships and encourage participants' active engagement in all activities.
- Foster respectful interactions with community members, advocating for age-appropriate treatment of participants.
- Develop and implement Individual Service Plans, assessing progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Maintain professional, empathetic relationships with families and agency staff, balancing advocacy with respect and sensitivity.
- Document participants’ progress meticulously and manage essential administrative tasks.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the mission of the program and organization.
Compensation details: 23-25 Hourly Wage
