About the role
The Creative Build and Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire production process, from pre-production to post-production, ensuring that all aspects of the project are managed effectively. This role requires a strong understanding of design software and production processes, along with experience in creative production. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional project management skills, strong knowledge of design software, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality creative products on time and within budget.
What you'll do:
- Data Analysis: Gather and analyze data to estimate the costs associated with projects, including labor, materials, and overhead expenses.
- Blueprint Review: Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare detailed time and cost estimates.
- Client Consultation: Occasionally meet with clients to discuss project details and requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of expectations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with all departments, engineers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to formulate accurate estimates and resolve any issues.
- Report Preparation: Prepare and present detailed cost reports and proposals to clients, outlining the breakdown of costs.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and market conditions to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
- Software Utilization: Use specialized software for data analysis, cost estimation, and project management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have three (3) years' proven experience as a Cost Estimator.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to analyze complex data.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
Core CAD software proficiency
Must have strong skills in one or more:
- AutoCAD
- SolidWorks
- Revit (architecture, structural, MEP)
- Fusion 360
- Inventor
- Vectorworks
Must have knowledge of design principles
- Reading & creating technical drawings
- Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Blueprint interpretation
- 3D modeling & assemblies
- Drafting standards (ANSI, ISO)
