Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital’s (NVRH) Corner Medical team is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, CCMA, or RMA). Corner Medical has 12 providers who see 50–100 patients per day, providing comprehensive primary and preventive care for adult patients. Someone flexible and able to multitask will excel in this role.
Our enthusiastic and passionate team members continuously learn and grow in their roles at NVRH, thanks to educational support and scholarship programs. Under the supervision or direction of an MD, DO, PA, or NP, the CMA will perform medical assistant duties necessary for the efficient functioning of the medical practice. This includes greeting patients, answering the phone, maintaining patient flow, performing patient screening, collecting simple health history, taking vital signs, and accurately documenting in the EHR. CMAs will assist providers with in-office procedures, assemble sterile instruments and supplies, and set up, maintain, breaki down, and clean patient equipment.
