Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Human Resources to join our team in either Washington, D.C., or London. This role is pivotal in supporting the entire lifecycle of employees, from onboarding to exit, while enhancing HR operations and ensuring compliance with laws globally, particularly in the US, UK, Japan, and Brazil. The role reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer as a vital partner driving initiatives that attract, retain, and develop top talent.
Responsibilities
- Support and advise employees and leaders on employee relations, talent management, and organizational change initiatives.
- Lead and participate in HR projects, focusing on continuous improvement of HR processes and adherence to compliance laws.
- Develop and implement HR policies that align with the organization's strategic goals.
- Provide expertise in conflict resolution, investigations, benefits administration, payroll, compliance, contractor employment, policy adherence, and compensation.
- Collaborate with various departments to foster a highly inclusive and supportive work environment.
- Leverage advanced data analytics and reporting to drive HR strategies, enhance decision-making, and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and analytics tools to track HR metrics and identify trends.
- Utilize data insights to optimize workforce planning, talent management, and performance evaluation processes.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in an HR COE for a global company, in a leadership role.
- 5+ years of experience as a global HR Business Partner.
- Bachelor's Degree required; PHR/SPHR certification and PMP preferred.
- Strong project management, data reporting, and data analysis skills.
- Expertise in MS Office, Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, and Rippling HRIS.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency, ownership, and collaborative approach.
- Experience in the geopolitical consulting industry is a plus.
- The ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Ability to excel in a team comprised of specialists and generalists based in varying geographic locations and time zones.
- The mindset to provide superior service.
- Ability and desire to balance strategic guidance and vision with remaining a hands-on team member.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $120,000 to $135,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

The pay range for this role is:125,000 - 140,000 USD per year(Washington DC)
