About the role
- The Line Cook is responsible for preparing all menu items assigned to their station and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
What you'll do
- a.Stock and maintain adequate levels of food products at line stations to ensure smooth service.
b.Prepare items for broiling, grilling, frying, sauting, and other cooking methods.
c.Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.
d.Ensure only high-quality food is served to members and guests.
e.Apply FIFO (First in, First out) inventory practices daily.
f.Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation, including all cooking and refrigeration equipment.
g.Perform other duties as assigned by management.
h.Report equipment issues and maintenance needs to management.
i.Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
Qualifications
- a.3 - 5 years of line cook experience in a high-volume restaurant is preferred.
b.Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
c.Knowledgeable in health and sanitation guidelines, including HAACP compliance.
d.Current ServSafe Certification or Ability to obtain a Food Handlers Card
e. Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
