TITLE: Parent Partner
FLSA: Non-Exempt
PAY & BENEFITS: $21 hourly plus holiday/overtime pay, as applicable for on-call rotation

HYBRID REMOTE: Position is work-from-home, office and field work (SPA 4 and SPA 6). Offices are at 1200 Wilshire Blvd and Lynwood. The Wrap team is committed to meeting clients where they are most comfortable, providing in-person and telehealth support.
ABOUT WRAPAROUND and AMANECER
Wraparound is field based, crisis mental health program. It offers child-focused, family-centered mental health services based on strength and needs. We follow 10 principles: Family Voice and Choice, Team Based, Natural Supports, Collaboration, Community Based, Culturally Competent, Individualized Strength based, Persistence, and Outcome Based. Each Wraparound team consists of Therapists, Parent Partners, Child and Family Specialists, and Facilitators. Together we create strategies to support children and families in their journey of healing.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
You will be the liaison for parent involvement and offer support in whatever way is most helpful to each individual family. As a Parent Partner, you will be able to provide first-hand knowledge about navigating various systems (i.e., Child Welfare System, Probation, education, health, community resources, etc.) as a result of having lived experience as a parent or caregiver.
You are an advocate, peer support, and role model for families, promoting family-centered practices and family decision-making.
- Assist the development of parent support groups.
- Provide families with direct assistance and resource linkage.
- Meet clients in the field if needed. Provide transportation to clients for linkage services or other pre-approved outings.
- Collaborate in cross-system teaming and community-based service delivery.
- Assist with crisis intervention as needed, including being available to client/families after hours as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CA Driver License required to provide transportation to clients who may need it.
- Bilingual Spanish speaking required.
- DCFS and/or Probation case (if any) should be closed for at least one year at the time of hire.
- Must be a parent or caregiver of a child with special needs/disabilities.
