Truck Service Advisor (TSA) – Steele, ND

The Truck Service Advisor is the face of our TA Truck Service shop and plays a critical role in ensuring a smooth experience for professional drivers and fleet customers. As the first point of contact, you'll be responsible for welcoming drivers, understanding their needs, and translating that information into accurate repair orders for our shop team. You'll work closely with technicians to track progress, provide timely updates, and ensure services are completed safely and efficiently.
This position requires strong customer service skills, the ability to stay organized under pressure, and clear communication both with drivers and team members. A TSA directly impacts driver satisfaction, shop productivity, and the overall reputation of our service center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet professional drivers and fleet representatives in a friendly, professional manner.
- Collect and document service information, creating accurate and detailed repair orders.
- Coordinate with shop technicians to assign work and monitor progress.
- Provide customers with clear estimates, repair timelines, and regular status updates.
- Ensure all safety protocols, compliance guidelines, and company policies are followed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
- Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented shop setting.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service, automotive, or diesel/truck service is helpful but not required—training provided.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and comfort with data entry.
- Must possess and maintain a clean driving record.
