At Gallatin Valley Pediatric Dentistry, we pride ourselves on helping families in our community with their dental needs. As a pediatric dental office, our focus is children ages 0-18. We are looking for a hygienist to partner with who values oral health as a part of overall health. Providing education of oral health issues and addressing the concerns of children and parents in a way that will resonate with them is our primary goal for our dental hygiene team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Comprehensive preventive care visits including dental cleanings and calculus removal.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations.
- Take and develop dental x-rays to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress in electronic health records.
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants as needed.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in dental hygiene techniques.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional patient care.
- Uphold infection control and safety standards to create a comfortable and secure environment for patients and staff.
